Cassie and Andrew

Our Story

Andrew remembers the first time he saw Cassie; they were passing each other in front of Wiggin Street Coffee on the campus of Kenyon College when they made eye contact (no, Cassie does not recall this, and Andrew thought “damn, she’s pretty cute”). A few months later, they were formally introduced at a party by mutual friends and teammates after Cassie finally got down from the couch that she was dancing on. Once Andrew completed an internship in Rhode Island and Cassie studied abroad in Bolivia, the two realized that they wanted to be together and began officially dating. After two years of long-distance, Cassie graduated and moved to Seattle to be with Andrew. They lived there for six years, being sad Mariners fans, hosting game nights, and financially supporting the local teriyaki shop with their weekly orders. After Andrew’s first proposal attempt was sabotaged by the flu, he finally proposed to Cassie at Discovery Park, overlooking the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains, on a crisp January day in 2025.

Six months later, the pair packed up their apartment and hit the road to explore new places, taste amazing foods, and visit family and friends, all while working remotely and planning their wedding. August 2026 will be the start of a new and exciting adventure, and they’ll be ready for a drink!
